Carrier Help

Guidance for signing in and working with shipments assigned to your carrier.

Carrier / Vendor Login

Getting started

  1. Enter the Load Tender number from your invitation, your carrier number, and your authorized work email on the login page.
  2. Continue to Microsoft sign-in using that same email account. Look for an Account Verification Code from TransportGistics (via Microsoft) if prompted.
  3. Open the Load Tender to review shipment details and generate the carrier ASN.
  4. Use Tracing and Tracking to find assigned shipments; create milestones as the shipment progresses.
  5. Choose Invoice to submit a freight invoice with its PDF packet or review invoices already submitted by your carrier.
  6. Choose Bids to see invitations sent to your carrier account and submit a quote while a bid is open.

Frequently asked questions

What should I enter as the business reference?

Use the Load Tender number supplied for your shipment, not a purchase order or delivery note number.

Why was my access not validated?

Check the Load Tender number, carrier number, and email address. The email must belong to an approved contact or domain for the carrier and the shipment must be authorized for that carrier. If the details are correct, contact your TransportGistics integration contact.

Which account should I choose at Microsoft sign-in?

Choose the work account matching the email address entered on the TGIAlign login form. A different account may not match your carrier access.

Where do I create a carrier ASN?

From the Carrier Workspace, choose Process a Load Tender and open the authorized shipment.

How do I find or update a shipment?

Use Tracing and Tracking to search by Load Tender, purchasing document, or HBOL/AWB. You can create a milestone from a matching result, or use Update Shipment Status in the Carrier Workspace.

Why can't I see a shipment?

Carrier access is limited to assigned or authorized shipments. Check the reference and ask your TransportGistics contact to verify the assignment if it is still missing.

How do I submit an invoice?

Choose Invoice → Submit Invoice, enter an assigned Load Tender number, and review the prefilled shipment information. Complete the invoice dates, freight terms, charges, and any required mode-specific fields. Attach one PDF invoice packet (up to 20 MB), confirm the information is accurate, and submit. The same Load Tender can be invoiced only once, and an invoice number cannot be reused by your carrier.

What happens to my PDF?

The PDF is checked and scanned before the invoice is saved. Once saved, it is recorded with the shipment documents and an email to freightbills@transportgistics.com is attempted. An email failure does not remove the saved invoice; check its status in Review Invoices.

How do I review an invoice I entered?

Choose Invoice → Review Invoices. Filter by invoice number, Load Tender, or invoice date, then select an invoice to see its saved information, charges, PDF status, email status, and EDI status. You can see only invoices belonging to your carrier organization.

When is an EDI file created?

Saving the invoice does not automatically create an EDI file. Choose Generate 110 EDI file for air, Generate 210 EDI file for road, or Generate 310 EDI file for ocean. The option is available after submission and on the invoice detail page. If generation fails, the detail page offers a retry. A written file is not generated again; a pending attempt must be reviewed by an administrator before retrying.

For ocean invoices, search by port code or name and select each port from the list. The port names fill automatically. With PP (prepaid) freight terms, destination arrival and availability dates are optional; with CC (collect), enter both dates.

Where can I find a bid invitation?

Choose Bids from the carrier navigation. Invitations addressed to your signed-in carrier account appear there. You can enter a quote for an open bid, or review an awarded or closed bid without changing it.

Can I enter more than one commercial invoice number?

Yes. Enter each number separately on the form.
